Commercial Law

It is a branch of civil law that deals specifically with issues and laws related to commerce and commercial activities. Commercial law aims to regulate commercial relations between individuals and companies and provide the necessary legal framework to ensure fairness and justice in commercial practices. The UAE Penal Code is a federal law, and its principles are derived from the provisions of Islamic Sharia. Commercial law covers the establishment and organization of companies, including the choice of a company structure such as a joint stock company or a limited liability company, registration procedures and requirements for company formation. It also covers requirements related to contracts and necessary documents, as well as the drafting and execution of commercial contracts, including sale and purchase agreements, commercial partnerships, distribution and agency agreements, financing and investment contracts, and other related commercial contracts.
